We avoided the Toronto traffic by taking the 427 hwy. At 1:00 we were in Kingston for lunch. By 6:15 we were through Montreal, but what a hectic ride – we hit Montreal at rush hour. We worked our way through some amazing concrete underpasses and overpasses. We should have taken more pictures other than the Jacques Cartier Bridge. At 7:15 we arrived at our hotel in Drummondville, Quebec.
The fields that bordered the St Lawrence near Montimagny were beautiful – long flat green stripes, extended out from the river. It looks like a huge delta.
